Andrew D. Kaizer Joins Michelman & Robinson, LLP as a Partner in its New York Office - Michelman & Robinson, LLP (Jul 02, 2009)
NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES- Michelman & Robinson, LLP, (“M&R”) a full service law firm with locations in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Orange County is pleased to announce that Andrew D. Kaizer has joined the Firm as a Partner in its New York Office.
As the Co-Chair of the Firm’s Commercial and Business Litigation Department, Mr. Kaizer brings over twenty five years of incomparable experience and expertise in complex commercial and business litigation to M&R’s well respected practice. He specializes in securities and commodities enforcement, white-collar criminal defense, investigations by federal, state, and private-sector regulators and law enforcement officials in the United States and abroad, internal investigations, hedge fund and broker-dealer regulatory compliance, class actions and RICO matters, among others.
Mr. Kaizer has achieved tremendous success throughout his career representing individuals, corporate board members and organizations from a wide variety of industries, including those in the financial services sector, in criminal, regulatory and corporate governance matters. He has successfully advised clients during investigations of alleged Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations, mutual fund market timing, insider trading, market manipulation, securities fraud, ERISA fraud, bank embezzlement, public corruption, auditor independence, accounting practices and professional liability and underwriter IPO practices, as well as antitrust investigations in a variety of industries.
With the addition of Mr. Kaizer to its New York office, M&R adds another dimension to an already accomplished nucleus of attorneys. Since expanding its practice into New York City, M&R has steadily built its presence in the state’s legal market and brought outstanding lawyers on board.

Prior to joining M&R, Mr. Kaizer was a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP where he was a member of the Firm's Trial Department and the Head of the SEC Defense Group in their New York office. He has also been a partner at a major international law firm, based in New York.
