John J. Skinner, Jr. Joins Michelman & Robinson, LLP as a Partner in its New York Office  - Michelman & Robinson, LLP (Nov 02, 2009)

NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES- Michelman & Robinson, LLP, (“M&R”) a full service law firm with locations in New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Francisco and Orange County is pleased to announce that John J. Skinner, Jr. has joined the Firm as a Partner in its New York Office.

Mr. Skinner, the newest member of M&R’s well-respected Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Department, is a registered patent and trademark attorney who litigates and provides expert guidance on a broad range of intellectual property matters, including licensing, infringement, and patentability.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Skinner has successfully represented some of the nation’s most prominent technology companies, as well as medium sized entities and start-up businesses. He specializes in serving clients in the fields of telecommunications, e-commerce, electrical engineering, computer software, internet applications, mechanics, advanced materials and manufacturing.

In addition to his impressive legal experience, Mr. Skinner gained critical leadership skills while serving as an Officer (Captain) in the United States Army. Prior to joining M&R, Mr. Skinner was a partner in the New York office of Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. where he was a member of the Firm's Intellectual Property practice. He has also been a partner at Fox Rothschild LLP. Mr. Skinner earned his Bachelor of Science, from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1987. He received his Master of Science, Business Management from Troy University in 1989 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1995.
