CALIFORNIA/NEW YORK/NEW JERSEY - Michelman & Robinson, LLP, (“M&R”) a full service national law firm with locations in New York City, New Jersey, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Orange County, is pleased to announce Judith J. Sullivan has joined the Firm as a partner in its Corporate and Securities Department. Ms. Sullivan will be based out of New York City and will also be chairing the practice for the Firm in New Jersey.

Ms. Sullivan is in her third decade of practicing law in the New York and New Jersey area.  She trained in New York City’s area’s biggest and brightest law firms, and brings an unusual combination of experience in commercial litigation, general corporate and transactional matters to the Firm.  Ms. Sullivan has developed, over the past ten years, a dedicated practice to international legal matters for clients all over the world and is a highly respected member of the legal communities in New York and in New Jersey. The addition of Ms. Sullivan to M&R allows the Firm to offer its clients a greater breadth and depth of services to meet their legal needs throughout the nation and the world.
 
Ms. Sullivan has achieved an unparalleled level of success throughout her career in representing clients in domestic and international corporate law matters, commercial lending and regulatory needs, mergers and acquisitions, board governance issues, shareholder rights, securities law, private equity investments, venture capital transactions, corporate restructurings, commercial real estate and international commercial disputes. Her practice stretches beyond the borders of the United States as she represents high profile international clients in their cross-border transactional, foreign direct investment, general business counseling and litigation needs.
 
Ms. Sullivan’s accomplishments have long been recognized by the legal and business communities.  After graduating at the top of her class winning numerous honors, she proceeded to speak, write and lead in a number of state, national, international and academic organizations throughout her twenty plus year career.  She counts as her clients billion dollar revenue, Fortune 100, and middle market companies, and in some instances, serves on the boards of these clients.  After teaching at Seton Hall Law School for five years, she turned her attentions to her presidency of the Transatlantic Business Council from 2005-2007, an independent not-for-profit international trade association.  She is currently the Vice-Chair of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law.
