Reuben Ginsburg is counsel in M&R’s Los Angeles office. A State Bar of California certified appellate specialist, his primary focus is appellate litigation.
Prior to joining M&R, Reuben worked as a Senior Appellate Court Attorney for the California Court of Appeal for more than two decades, drafting opinions in civil and criminal appeals and writ proceedings. He prepared more than 115 published opinions involving many areas of substantive and procedural law, and numerous more that were not published. Before his tenure with the appellate court, he was a litigator and appellate advocate at top-rated firms in L.A. By virtue of his vast experience, Reuben is intimately familiar with the appellate process and judicial decision-making. He has an extraordinarily broad range of legal knowledge.
Beyond the practice of law, Reuben volunteers as an advisor to the California Lawyers Association Litigation Section’s Executive Committee and chairs the Section’s Jury Instructions Committee. He is also a member of CLA’s Governmental Affairs and Amicus Committees. Previously, Reuben served as chair of the State Bar Litigation Section and as managing editor of Litigation Update, the Section’s monthly online publication.
